At Hand ‘N Paw Dog Training, every session is more than just training—it’s an investment in a happier life with your dog. Our 90-minute, one-on-one in-home training sessions throughout the Salt Lake Valley, Utah give us the space to address behavioral challenges such as anxiety, reactivity, leash frustration, and focus issues, while practicing real-life skills and strengthening your connection. Using proven, positive, relationship-based methods, we create a custom plan tailored to your lifestyle and your dog’s unique needs. You’ll leave each session with clear, easy-to-follow exercises so progress continues long after we wrap up.
Payment plans are available for all training packages, because building a great relationship with your dog shouldn’t have to wait.

Our initial consultation usually lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. Each training session runs for a full 90 minutes, giving us plenty of time to explore your goals, practice effectively, and ensure that you and your dog walk away feeling confident and ready before we wrap up.

Yes! We offer in-home and on-location training anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley. Sessions can happen in your home, your neighborhood, or any environment that best supports your goals — whether that’s the park for leash work, a busy street for reactivity training, or a quiet spot for focus-building.

Yes! While we don’t provide boarding services, we do offer pet walking and sitting in your home. We’re happy to help keep your dog happy, exercised, and cared for in the comfort of their own space when you can’t be there. Ask us for details!
