What to Expect with Hand ’N Paw Pet Care
We believe great care starts with clear communication and thoughtful support—for both you and your pet. Here’s what you can expect when working with Hand ’N Paw:
Flexible arrival windows: Visits are scheduled within a time window (rather than an exact time) so we can safely and reliably care for all clients.
Simple scheduling expectations: Visits must be cancelled prior to the day before your scheduled service. For housesitting, cancellations made more than 7 days in advance receive a partial deposit refund, while cancellations within 7 days forfeit the deposit.
Clear, consistent payments: Weekly visits are due by the Sunday before your service week, and housesitting requires a 50% deposit to reserve your dates.
Safety-first care: Your pet’s wellbeing always comes first. Visits or plans may be adjusted if conditions are unsafe or your pet isn’t feeling well.
Reliable home access: Please ensure clear, working access to your home at the time of service, and let us know if anyone else (guests, cleaners, maintenance, etc.) may be entering the home during scheduled visits.
Thoughtful communication: You’ll receive updates after each visit, along with any important notes about your pet’s care.
Honest, open information: Sharing behavioral or medical details helps us provide the safest, most effective care possible.
